Combined units at Tower Retail Park, redeveloped into a PureGym with upgraded electric and gas supplies.
The brief
A new commercial unit development situated on the Tower Retail Park, this included combining units 116a (Topps Tile) and unit 116b (Maplin) into a single unit for Puregym. The Crayford town center gym has been situated on the former site of Maplins and Topps Tiles and was part of a wider city centre regeneration project. We delivered a 138kVA CT electric supply and 140kWh U16 gas supply including meters, and arranged disconnections of the existing supplies.
Scope of Work
We liaised with the network owners to co-ordinate the permit required for the works in the footpath to have all connections completed on time. During the works, an unexpected second disconnection was found to be required for the electric, however we worked quickly with our contractor to obtain the cost and arrange payment without affecting the deadline our client had set.
